Historic England Report - North Farm, Harthill

In 2019, Harthill with Woodall Archaeology Group asked Historic England to carry out a survey of North Farm, Hard Lane, Harthill before it is demolished to make way for a new 51 housing development.

The exact origins of North Farm are currently unknown, however, it is shown on the 1720 Manorial Map of Harthill.

During WW2 the barn attached to the farmhouse, housed Italian Prisoners of War who were used to work on the land. German Prisoners of War also worked in Harthill's fields and were located at Loscar Farm.
